Minisode: 1 - The Mask

[SFX of a carriage rolling along, and tinkering noises]

Val: "Inspecting your new mask from the blacksmith girl?"

Host: "Yeah, it's interesting. Never received a gift like this before."

Val: "Have you tried it on?"

Host: "Not yet. Hold on."

[SFX slight fuss, mask being pulled on]

Host: [with mask on] "How does it look? What the? It's changing my voice?"

Val: "Oh, cute! Let me see!"

[SFX mask unbbuckling]

Val: [mask on] "Helloo! Ruh-ruh-ruh. Oh, this is so funny. I wonder how it works."

Host: "Must have some low-level enchantment. It's a bit sinister."

Val: " I concur. I hope it isn't a portent of things to come."

Host: "I guess we'll see. How long until Pelsted?"

Val: "It's 4 days out."

Host: [Mask on] "How frustratingly dull and uncomfortable."

Val: "Don't worry, you'll be able to rest properly on the train."
